Sweetbread Apple Pudding

1 round loaf sweetbread (16 oz.)

1 can Comstock apple pie filling (21oz.)

1/2 cup raisins

2 cups milk

1/2 cup butter (1 block)

3/4 cup sugar

5 eggs, beaten

Cinnamon, for sprinkling


Break sweetbread in pieces and place in 9x13 inch pan.  Spread apple pie filling over bread, then sprinkle raisins over.  Scald milk, add butter and sugar, and stir until melted.  Cool mlk mixture, mix in beaten eggs and pour over bread.  Sprinkle with cinnamon.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
