Pasta Fruit Salad

Cook 1 cup Acini Di Pepe (very small round pasta) according to package directions.  Drain.  Set aside.

Mix together:

1 cup sugar

3 Tbsp flour


2 beaten eggs

1 Tbsp lemon juice

1 3/4 cups fruit juice (reserved from pineapple and mandarins)

Cook mixture, stirring constantly, until starts to thicken.  Chill.

Place in large bowl:

2 cans mandarin oranges, drained (reserved liquid)

1 large can pineapple chunks drained (reserved liquid)

1 8oz carton cool whip

1 cup miniature marshmallows

½ cup cup coconut

Fold pasta and custard into fruit mixture.
